United Way of Racine County creates real, lasting change by investing in funding opportunities that help build a thriving community.

Annual Investment

United Way of Racine County invests donor dollars into high-performing nonprofits offering programs aligned with its focus areas: healthy community, youth opportunity, financial security, and community resiliency.

Sponsorships

Closed for 2026 One-time sponsorships for events/projects that align with UWRC's mission and support UWRC partners are available to local nonprofits. Funding is awarded up to $500, and there is no minimum amount.

Equity Through Technology Fund

The Equity Through Technology Fund supports projects and programs in Racine County that use technology to improve opportunities and outcomes. This fund is made possible through the generosity of Microsoft Corporation.

Thriving Community Fund

The Thriving Community Fund invests in innovative local programs and projects that strengthen connections, expand opportunities, and improve quality of life for people throughout Racine County. These efforts advance United Way's Community Impact Agenda.

Wadewitz Funds

United Way funded impact partners can receive support for emergency capitol repairs by either applying for a grant for 50 percent of the funds needed or by applying for an interest-free loan for the repairs.

Essential Support Fund

The Essential Support Fund supports projects/programs that support individuals and families in Racine County by addressing their most urgent needs. This fund is made possible through the generosity of Microsoft Corporation.
