Supporter Spotlight: Putzmeister, Dave Durment and Racine Video Production Workshop

PUTZMEISTER: A LONGTIME PARTNER IN COMMUNITY

Putzmeister has been a longtime supporter of United Way of Racine County, consistently finding ways to invest in the community and support UWRC’s mission. 

Most recently, Putzmeister hosted its annual golf outing benefiting United Way of Racine County, bringing employees, partners, and community members together for a day of fun while raising funds to help strengthen Racine County. 

That continued commitment — through the golf outing and other support over the years — demonstrates Putzmeister’s dedication to giving back to the community where its employees live and work. We are grateful for Putzmeister’s longstanding partnership and continued investment in the people and programs that help Racine County thrive.

DAVE DURMENT: A VOLUNTEER WHO KEEPS SHOWING UP

Dave Durment has found plenty of ways to give back to United Way of Racine County. A longtime donor, volunteer, and board member, Dave has served on community investment volunteer teams, helped local residents through tax preparation, and previously served as UWRC’s Board Treasurer.

But perhaps what makes Dave such a familiar and welcome presence at UWRC is simply that he keeps showing up. Whether he’s helping make funding decisions, preparing taxes, or stopping by the office, Dave brings his time, expertise, good humor, and — occasionally — his puppy.

We’re grateful for Dave’s many years of service and the countless ways he continues to make a difference for UWRC and our community.

RACINE VIDEO PRODUCTION WORKSHOP: CREATING OPPORTUNITY THROUGH CREATIVITY

Racine Video Production Workshop first partnered with United Way of Racine County through the Equity Through Technology Fund. Today, the organization is an UWRC impact partner, receiving support through UWRC’s annual community investment.

Through hands-on experiences in video production, editing, storytelling, and other creative skills, Racine Video Production Workshop gives local students a place to express themselves while developing skills that can translate into future careers.

The organization has also become a vocal supporter of United Way and a valued community partner. Together, UWRC and Racine Video Production Workshop are helping young people discover their creativity, build confidence, and see new possibilities for their futures.

We’re grateful for their partnership and the opportunities they create for Racine County students.
